I drove my gf's 2003 clio bilabong the other day, the brakes on that feel alot more powerful than my ph2 172. Its only got drums at the back of her car! how powerful should my brakes be compared to a 1.2 clio? I also fitted brembo max discs and got green stuff pads all round on my car.

Just wondering how many of u here has had there cambelt snapped and what damage did it cause. also how old was the belt and how many miles did it cover!

Ive got a Ph2 172 and my speedo and trip computer arent working. The speedo doesn't work for bout 90% of the time. took my car to a renault dealer and they couldnt find a problem with the car. Ive taken the dash off and checked the cables and there fine. what else could I try and look for?

I got a ph2 172. My speedo and trip computer has stopped working. they might work for a few minutes but then they stop working again, anyone know what the reasons could be? does the UCH control them both? Ive had problems a few months ago with my UCH and had it replaced twice just after christmas.

Hi just had my car lowered, cup front splitter, brembo max discs and my new OZ supertourismo WRC wheels fitted. What you all think? I quite like the wheels.

Everytime I go to pull off in my 172 when my car has been parked up theres a weird rubbing noise thats comes from the front passenger wheel. Thats the only time it makes a noise. Anyone know wot it could be? I couldnt see anything rubbing and even took my wheel off to have a look.

I tried fitting a set of braided hoses on my front brakes but the top nut just keeps turning and I can't pull the old hose off. Anyone know how to get the old hoses off?

I just went out and bought some Castrol GTD Magnetec 5W40 oil for my 172 Ph2, but on the bottle it says its for diesel engines but I thougth it wouldnt matter becuause its the same grade. Does anyone know if this will run ok before I fill it up?
