Whats that noise??

Everytime I go to pull off in my 172 when my car has been parked up theres a weird rubbing noise thats comes from the front passenger wheel. Thats the only time it makes a noise. Anyone know wot it could be? I couldnt see anything rubbing and even took my wheel off to have a look.

Maybe one of your pads rubbing... and then easing off when you drive off. Maybe take them out, bit off copper grease on the back and wire wool on the inside of the caliper.... just guessing here.

Its not that type of noise. it also does it after the ABS has kicked in when braking hard but the brakes seem 2 be working normally.

Oh, then it might be you abs/esp doing a systems check. They make a funny noise in the 1st first seconds of driving it first thing, which is this check.

Mine does it too, but only in reverse as i park on a drive way.

Could be, its only made that noise since I took it in the renault garage to hav my uch changed and serviced. never did it when I first had the car. I'll just hav 2 put up wiv it. lol
