    Alternator fault?

Not long bought a 172 and its developed a plastic/rubbery burning smell from under the bonnet on the drivers side, it smells very strongly sometimes and other times I don't notice it. Driving home earlier with wipers/de-mist/lights etc on and a red 'Stop' and battery light flashed up on the...

    Toyota Yaris Detail

A friend of the family asked me if I could have a go at tidying up her other halves car as it had some deep scratches on the bonnet and as its a learner car it had also seen its fair share of bushes down the sides. He had no idea where the deeper scratches came from and some I could only make...

    End Of An Era

It will just sit on the driveway until I've decided really. Me and my dad share a red mk1 as a trackday car so I think we will swap the cage/seats etc into the grey one and use that instead. The flocked dash was one of the best mods I done to it, the previous owner had cleaned the top to a...

    End Of An Era

Mine was the later xeros grey but you certainly don't see many around on the road, think I spotted around 3 in my time driving it. Wont be doing too much to the 172, change a few things back to standard (exhaust/induction kit) and just tidy it up a bit with finding a new splitter top of the...

    End Of An Era

With the mot looming in a few months and the car needing quite a bit of work to pass, I thought it was time I finally got something a bit newer for a daily drive. Had it for almost 6 years now I believe, it was my first car and its been such a fun car but I needed something better on fuel and...

    Choice of polish

Might be better off getting autoglym HD wax than egp. Not sure on how they compare but I really like ultimate polish, used it a few times by machine and it adds great gloss and removes a lot of light swirls.

    Waxybox chat thread

Benn really impressed with these so far, last months and this months have been good and I've used a few things so far. Last months Tyre dressing - I found to be really nice to use and gave a very natural look i thought, as some have said it only lasts a week or so. Shampoo - Again i thought...

Too true! A faded pink square might not look as good. Need to go down and give it a quick rinse before Llandow sometime this week.
