Not 100 per cent sure, but some places have issues with those style bonnet catches with the MOT. Same reason the merc / rolls Royce badges now need to be able to flex / bend if you run over a pedestrian. Depends how friendly your MOT place is though... ;)

I couldn't get anything other than a proper low entry jack under mine without driving it on bricks. The only downside of mine is the weight. It is the SGS engineering low entry jobby.

@garyshoose - trust me, they will be plenty low enough for track. I run mine with camber bolts, -2.5 deg at the front and standard at the back;

Sounds right for just cams. You may want to get the map checked though. My map with just 438 cams killed my engine. As it did on 3 other cars I know of!
