And the Trevor? Christ. Although I guess when you can DIY paint and mechanics, you could buy at the bottom end of the market and bring them up to concours!

Huge claims, huge bhp, apparent trophy 172, gumtree special

It must have 240 or more because it beats VXRs, apparently. I've asked more and shown genuine interest if it's 240, regardless of the rest.

Lol. God knows why he's wrapping the car. Presume he's done well for himself with KDS but is still quite chavvy, even with his good taste in cars.

    Snow foam and lance suggestions

Yeah it will be, Andy. Not to doubt you chap, but it is the pressure that creates the thick foam. Granted different foams will show a marginal difference in consistency, but nothing like the affect of a decent rated PW versus a cheapo one.

    Snow foam and lance suggestions

Just to add to this, it's the pressure washer that creates the stark difference. The more pressure the PW has, the more it will create the "shaving foam" thick consistency.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

Although not talked about/confirmed, it is the same product, with different instructions. I.e. if you apply incorrectly to bodywork, it's an issue for n00bs. If applied incorrectly to wheels/plastics, it's not. That's the basic reasoning behind not confirming. Great work on that TT btw, Andy...

    Porsche 991 GT3 Wrecked

Related, but not the reason for the above; http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/owners-told-stop-driving-their-porsche-911-gt3s

    Porsche 991 GT3 Wrecked

I would agree that in a lot of cases, being a tit and speeding is usually the presumed cause, especially on forums. However, without all of the facts, you are doing just that - making a presumption. There isn't anything in the PH thread to suggest what the cause was, which is why you've failed...

    Porsche 991 GT3 Wrecked

People making assumptions without all the facts, as you've done with your first reply, insinuating he had to be driving like a tit to spin a car at 50mph.

    Porsche 991 GT3 Wrecked

My apologies, I've clearly made a presumption without all the facts... ...Oh wait ;)

Recommend me some products for a silver car

Covered hundreds of times before, Tom. In fact, I'll be willing to bet several search results coming up for that exact title!

    Porsche 991 GT3 Wrecked

This is quite amusing. You suggest someone who has crashed was potentially driving like a tit, and next you post about doing over 100mph on a public road. Nice.

    Porsche 991 GT3 Wrecked

My Clio span at 35 MPH on the M60 in 2008 ish. I hit very deep standing water in torrential rain; the back end was already light as I had no seats/spare tyre in and I slowly did a pirouette into the side barrier. Luckily it was about 3am, so not many cars around. So yes, it can happen without...

    Degreaser/Strong cleaner for arches/engine bay

But only available from an AS rep or online. So, as the OP suggested, if you want to buy locally, you can't.

    The New Whip

It doesn't by the looks of things, TomSx - first thing is says is "use software to log your cars data?". So one presumes is a tool to draw graphs based on your logs from VCDS for example. Jolly useful! Thanks for bringing it up!

    Degreaser/Strong cleaner for arches/engine bay

An APC with a decent dilution will help. You could buy Auto Finesse 's Citrus Power (have a look further down the forum for reviews). If you have to shop in Halfrauds, look at Rapid Dirt Shifter by Carplan/DemonShine or Engine and Machine Cleaner by AutoGlym. Both are great cleaners up for the...

    He strikes again!!

So this guy definitely doesn't like being emailed with questions! Asking whether that engine comes with an entire car for £2,400 and he's told me I need to ask a member of the legal profession to read the advert if I need clarification! Pretty clear he's not from this country (planet) either...

    Full Car MOP

Basically what Ben has said. Think of a shower that looks like this; This is how my car looks if I leave it having used the local jet wash. And it's calcium which is quite a hard salt = marring if dried, even via pat drying.

    Full Car MOP

They all do the same via RO much like your brita filter in your house. They are expensive and run out quickly (although you can't tell until they really start to go). Where are you based?
  27. J

    Full Car MOP

I'd be doing a Google search to bring up the names and links for you, so suggest you do that yourself. However, I wouldn't bother. They're expensive and need replacing frequently.

I swear some of the best times are with the old NW lot and the new SE lot working/detailing/generally taking the piss out of rob etc. Cracking video!
