AF products 3 for 2, recommendations needed.

AG T&GR is awfully slow and ineffective. Obliterate and Tardis will destroy it. You won't look back.

    car shampoo

Gold Class is fine. Also makes good claying lube.

Gtechniq, do you work for them?

Watch videos John. YouTube can be a life saver for this sort of thing.

    Help identifying...

That requires a respray. The lacquer has reacted. Paint-stripper or something equally as harsh.

Gtechniq, do you work for them?

It also doesn't make a difference to the cost, either way. Except for the size of bottle you purchase...

Gtechniq, do you work for them?

C5 is marketed as safer for Gen Pub to use on wheels, because if you mess it up you can refurb your alloys. If you mess up bodywork with C1, you'd have to respray the effected area = £££. Whether they are two different products, well that's up to you to decide for yourself...

Solutions to the hose pipe ban? Ideas in here from and for anyone.

Sorry, what has this got to do with salted water? I did. They rejected my application because I answered the question "What would you like to see on Question Time?" with "Nick Griffin choking to death".

    Halfords 3 for 2

No it's not. If you have to use a Halfords product, AG Bumper Care is best. Although it is still pretty average.

    Halfords 3 for 2

Jay, yes. I can but you won't be able to get it in Halfords. Do you want a Halfords suggestion or a "best product" suggestion? It will also allow dirt to stick to it and run off when it rains... Pretty average stuff, but again, are you a Halfords shopper or a "best product" shopper...

    Halfords 3 for 2

Good for some products like Engine ad Machine Cleaner. Thanks for the heads up.

It does amuse me, all this "give a damn" attitude. But then again, it's CS so why am I not surprised? You'll give a damn when you are having to write out a cheque for a large percentage of your cars value and sending it off to the Government. Wash it now, protect it properly and maintain it...

    Sport Seats?

Agreed. APC is too harsh in my eyes. The Alacantra may also not be colour fast when treated with such a chemical. A soft brush and a specific Alacantra cleaner is best.

    Alfa Romeo 156 Detailed

You're already married, right Daniel? Looks good. If I may add to the process, tar and iron removers will make your claying sessions a hell of a lot easier. Not to mention safer.

If Russ is anything like me, the owner will have left with correct washing techniques and a "to purchase" list. You cynical bugger!
