They're not MF. They're non-linting, so don't give off fibres.

Last time someone attended this, their review was "shocking and full of chav cars". Let's hope this one is better.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

Yes, but depends how anal you are. The more porous, the more product you'll "use" (lose). A good trick I learnt off DW, use the I1 fabric protect on the cotton pads, which means none of the product is taken up by the porous applicator.

    Protecting freshly powdercoated wheels?

Pretty good finish. This colour will clearly show up imperfections more than silver, but still looks a hell of a lot better than my current silver circles.

    Protecting freshly powdercoated wheels?

Addicted, did you take your wheels to CPC without tyres? This deal was running years ago when I was closer. My wheels are shot and I'm seriously considering taking them up there from London for the sake of £20 per wheel. What's the finish like? Any close ups?

CS points? A few weeks back you were asking some very basic detailing questions. Last week you setup a detailing business, while asking Russ questions for a "detailing project," this week you're telling people you know more than most in this section? I'm out.

Darker, yes. When it drives into the garage in the first few moments, it looks great. Like the M3 Purple.

RB 200 - Detail following Chappers instructions :D

Agree on the personal preference. But I'm talking 500ml Z8 versus 500ml Red Mist. Same price, superior product. Same with the 478ml Sonus. Wax wise, again, looks and longevity are lower than Nattys blue, at double the cost. Step up by £15 and you're at Carbon and Onyx pricing. The only DJ wax...

RB 200 - Detail following Chappers instructions :D

The wax doesn't last that long, nor look that good in comparison to other waxes in the same price bracket. The QD, well, the same really. Z8 is far superior as a last touch product. Or Carnauba Spritz by Sonus.

I did wonder how you were typing and driving. Turner will be along in a minute to say it's because there is no steering feel, so you can just do it with your knees... or something to that effect.

    The Dark Knight.... Progress Thread

Mate, the car looks, sounds and goes so well, there is no point in selling it or not getting it fixed. What would you do? Sell it and start again? Have a word. Get the hub sorted, be happy again. Done.

RB 200 - Detail following Chappers instructions :D

I have to say, it looks superb. Not taking anything away from your hard work, but it is such a rewarding and easy colour to really bring out the best, provided you know what you're doing. Not sure on the wax choice and definitely suggest against Red Mist as a QD, but it's all personal...
