Has anyone got any good tips on how to remove the hub from the ball joint,
im having a hard time doing it, i can get the nut off,
but the bolt seems well and truley in there :(
any hints would be grand!
theyll probs fit, might not be too snug though
but even if they did you'd only get two springs, (hence the price)
90-98 clios had tortion bar on the back, and no springs.
so unless you're going for the nose down look, i'd stick with the later.
the only thing you take off above the arch is the top cup,
the bearings and rubber bit sit below the arch, but keep them aswell,
and remove the transport nut?? or is that optional??
if you have 43R stamped into the glass, it has a factory tint of around 30%
adding anything to this will push it over the legal limit,
what you should do, is fit a kill switch to your window motors,
police come along, down they go, flick the switch,
"sorry officer, theres no glass in them,"...
if your cats hitting the floor, why dont you raise the back??
itll make everything in front of the front wheels slightly lower, but everything behind the front wheels slightly higher?

They know people who mod the performance of a car, drive like a hero,
people add brakes because they intend to...
^^ as said, shwo cages wont act as a roll cage in a crash, they are litterally just for show,
looks like someones arranging a group buy on normal cages in the for sale section,
only half cages though
i really want to find a truck like this, want to see if my clio would fit underneith it,
car looks nice, would have gone for smaller wheels personally.
renault would have balanced up performance with comfort, practicality and cost,
they would have been based on a certain compresion rate, and designed to work well with the designed shock however the speed they come off a production line, i doubt theyd be that accurate.
so yes, cheep springs...
are you 100% about this fred??
taking hubs from a 1.4 16v ph2 (58mm)
they would go on a 1.2 8v ph1 (52mm) and the only thing that wouldnt line up, is the bolt spacing??
would also like 100% confimation on this.
edit: also i want to put them on a clio without abs?? would this pose a...
