It's technically a form of fallout, so the usual process Kris mate. A good snow foam with APC, followed by tardis, iron-x and a good claying session. If the car is well protected, soapy warm water with a pH neutral shampoo will remove it. Don't scrub!

Using another polish would be my guess, but it's so hard to suggest when I can't see it in person. Are you local to a detailer at all? Where in South Yorks are you?

Awful, awful stuff. All polyclay is. You can't rework it. Mine was demoted to "let's see if it bounces like silly putty, as it feels like silly putty" after 5 minutes.

Good man. Foam wise I would suggest Meguiars Hyper Wash but it's only available online (unless you live close to an online shop's warehouse!). Also good as a pH neutral shampoo and APC.

Karchers are ok. I've fallen out with their plastic impellers in the pumps which can brake. Replaced with a Nilfisk. Foam wise, do a quick search for snow foam. Couple of threads recently.
