    Bird Dropping Stain

Sorry, you said the T word. Machine polishing will be the main solution. However, if you don't have access to, or have a friend with, hand polishing using a light cut hand pad and 203s from Menzerna might help you. Failing that the GTechniq P1 and polish pad could be a solution.

    Treat Myself

You won't find that kit makes the water sheet/bead as well as a wax, but it will be a hell of a lot better than an unprotected car.

    What have you ordered? *Detailing*

Re: What have you ordered? Yeah I've heard similar stories actually. I'm wanting to try a few things this next detail time, 203s with the Prime, 3.02 on a 3M (not needed to step up that far so far!) and a decent finishing pad with some RMG... Maybe some P1, but we'll see. Can I paypal you for...

John's a funny old thing. When he first started posting on AS he was quite sharp and blunt, but he does great write ups and the fecker is everywhere on DW!! He's really mellowed out now, though. Nice chap. Maybe he just needed to get into things and settle down into the new job.

Great example, read it a few times myself. I just can't help thinking that in that time he could have gone round with some Lime Prime and most likely corrected a larger proportion of the swirls - it is Honda paint after all!

    What have you ordered? *Detailing*

Re: What have you ordered? Also to point out, it is an easier product by hand as it means no taping up and easier to reach in the hard areas. Shuts and the like are a dream with it. Love the product. In all honesty, I would be tempted to suggest the Carnauba kit for your colour as well...

Re: What have you ordered? Spot on both. To give you an idea, this is a photo from PB after a machine polishing - just look at what it removes from an otherwise presumed clean surface!

Hits is slang for polishing. So giving something three hits with Menzerna on a pad is giving it three passes. Layers means... layers.

Re: What have you ordered? Yes and no. Not the "set" in that I ordered more Prime and Jett because I needed them, and decided to try the Glos. However, bought separately they are £46 delivered, where as the set is £54. I don't need the towels or applicators, so seemed a waste... Spot on...

    hard water

Ah crap buddy, that sucks :( Just a note, I always fill up the buckets with hot water, then jet them with the pressure washer to ensure the shampoo has mixed properly. Also brings the temperature down to the right level.

You mean it's available to the masses. Yes. It is h'actually easier for me to order off the internet. I don't have time to go out to Halfrauds. But I agree, for Joe Bloggs, it is a product that is readily available.

    What else can i do...

As above, by SRPing each time you are removing the protection. The DJ wax should last a good month or two. A top up every 1-2 months will do no harm, or you could use a decent QD like Zaino Z8 or a Carnauba Glos like Werkstat to top up the protection and increase the longevity of the wax.

I really can't tell buddy, sorry. It's up to you, but with a rotary I would be very careful. Have you used it before/any machine polishers before?
