Guys, just quickly, if you don't know about machine polishing, don't just "have at it".
AK, if you know how to use a rotary, great. But by the sounds of it "Long as you show me how to PC lol!" you may not.
It's not worth going in head first without thinking and doing damage to your/AN Other's...
If you're doing a 10 hour detail for £30, it's either taking you a long time to do nothing (no offense meant by this statement) or you're loosing out - majorly.
I know how much it costs me in products per detail and £30 will just about cover it, let alone my time, sweat and effort.
Harsh. No Xmas presents for her!
On a serious note, you are best trying from the ground up in terms of chemicals. So I would start with something easy like the JML Magic Sponge. No I'm not joking.
Then step it up to a spray of Meguirars All Purpose Cleaner and agitate with a detailing brush.
No worries. There are several companies up there, but you might want to find a local yocal like me who will do it for you as a hobby rather than a business (i.e. cheaper).
Or you can travel to me as Becca aka Needster on here did. Cheshire is not that far ;)
1; you shouldn't have left it
2; you need to find a machine polish pro to take it out for you
Sadly Perry bird droppings are highly alkali due to the Urea that's included (they do number 1 and 2 together, hence the colouring). If you don't remove them straight away they burn through the clear...
Unless Alex_C has replaced my old ones, cheapo 11£ ones from eBay are still going nearly two years on . . .
Or, Christopher, get your backside round and use my Halfrauds Trade Card and pick some Bosch ones up for half price.
