True.
I don't rate it and bought it purely because I lol'd at the name. Have a great photo somewhere of me with a thumbs up next to it . . .
Shame that you're such a ned, because half of that was good advice ;)
You added the links I CBA'd to do ;)
You need to polish and protect them so next time round all you need is warm soapy water.
Wash, clay, polish, seal.
Wash with Bilberry or just Autoglym Engine and Machine Cleaner (neutral cleaners/degreasers).
Polish with something simple like SRP or Lime Prime
Seal with a decent sealent/wheel...
Just wax. You won't need to polish or clay. And on a side note, polishing should always follow clay. So foam-rinse-wash-rinse-dry-clay-wash-rinse-dry-polish-seal-wax.
But for anyone that know's their stuff, i.e. those that do it for a living or a hobby, know that £28 an hour is minimum wage for the amount of knowledge, experience, time, blood and sweat that goes in to a detail such as this.
Saw the signal drop on mine for the first time last night, was holding the phone in landscape playing angry birds and it dropped from 5 bars 3G (Voda Sure Signal) to 3 bars.
Updated to 4.0.1 last night as well and that seems to have solved my data issue when accessing emails - guessing it was...
Looks like a great start TBH John. It depends how particular you are. You could go with what Rich has stated, but I like to ensure they are perfect with no limit on time.
Re read the thread and can't find a single offensive comment John! Here to help buddy so just ask away, don't have to worry about offending people with questions!!
You don't want to be lacquering or varnishing your headlamps fella . . . !
Almost 100% certain Halfrauds do 1200 buddy, but eBay is best. I would use no more than 1200 to start with, as this issue is not embedded in the plastic, it is a top layer reaction.
I have had no negative feedback from the 10-20 CS customers that have had this sorted for the last 3-5 years...
Depends how bad the build up is John. Ben172s was horrific and still waiting on some more grit paper supplies to fully sort it. Others like Daz's car took 3000 grit, polished up in no time.
Ah in that case perfect lad. Not the toughest of methods, but does take time.
Wet and dry it down (when clean), then polish up with something like Menz IP or other. Simples tbh.
You'll need to machine polish, unless you have arms like Popeye John. No local detailers around? I only charge £25 for doing it and by the time you've bought your paper, polish, pads etc works out cheaper to get someone to do it.
