Yep they are basically, mostly cars with engines in them that didn't start out in them though. MK1 corsa 1.2's with Calibra turbo engines in etc.

I don't think that a valver can be classed as a sleeper at all. I also think that some don't really understand what a sleeper is.

I clocked that the wheels on the mk6 gti are pretty much the smae as the mk5's ones, lazynesss imo:( The top wheels are awful, the ones on the meg look like erst wheels gone wrong. What's so wrong with normal looking wheels thesedays ??:S

I thought they did ?? 172 cup's didn't have it. Does the 182 cup just have a/c ?

An actual '182 cup' came with adifferent seats, it's bit lighter than a normal 182, but only by about 20kg or so. They miss off a few bits too (I can't remember exactly what) They also only came in Racing Blue or Inferno. I'd go for a normal 182 with both cup packs on it.

I hate CF bonnets, but seeing as your cars black it might not look bad at all. The dampers on mine are koni (mk1 though) and I think i've got eibach springs. Fred is your man for this sort of thing, he knows loads.

Yep they are usually silver, they have some coating on them which goes manky & makes them look awful.

Never seen something like that at all. Most people just refurbish their current ones (I assume yours have gone a bit manky ?) They always go a bit ming.

I don't think they look that bad really. I doubt you'd notice them much in real life anyway. Just paint up your current ones, that's what I did & they look ok. No one really notices wheel bolts anyway.

No worries, like I said in that thread I was considering it myself but I thought that it was a bit pricey.

My old mans 172 does exactly this at the min. He was told it was the cat that's knackered (I have no idea about it tbh)

I didn't think/expect them to be that quick to the ton tbh. What's it like with only five forward gears ?? Do you miss not having six ? (as per the golf etc)

Old skool cool ! The wheels on the first one (512 wheels iirc) are so much better looking than the ones they are meant to have, the me the original ones look awful and they seem to small. I still love F355's too (i'd love one)

What does a mk1 FRS weigh ?? As that 0-100 time isn't bad at all.
