Looks very good, great result.
But my eyes can't help but notice a; pisch poor taping up, hope he didn't buff the mirror base :S b; did he take the side bump strips off?
Not taking anything away from it though, looks superb!
Would suggest the CD test on them before you use them on your car, if you are precious about the paint.
Rub them over a CD and if you see scratches, they aren't good.
The LC pads and Menz IP will remove spider webbing, usually after just one decent pass.
However, as Jonny says, for deeper marks a rotary may be required.
There are many different pads and to be honest, it is purely down to personal preference.
I used the Sonus SFX pads for years, found them to be superb and last a long time.
However, recently I changed to Lakeland County pads. These cut much quick with the Menz products, however, they are...
Not sure why I bother reading these threads to be honest.
T-Cut, no.

Another very good piece of advice, that Stephen told me not too long ago. However, I can't remember the last time I dropped a piece of clay . . . but a good idea all the same.
Just to point out Charlie, you do not "buff off" after you clay. There can sometime be small pieces of clay on the paint work/other grime. You must jet wash, then wash thoroughly again, then dry.
The rest is correct.
Oh and sealent is to do exactly that, (as you said) seal the paint work...
Can't really add to that Ads mate, although it is all my own advice ;) Heard MP shakes are good ;)
Shaun, stay away from Turtle wax and the Ice rubbish. For wheels if you have caked on dust, use some Engine and Machine Cleaner (white spray bottle, pink label, available in Halfords). Something...
Still under the impression that you can't get one for the mk2/3. . .
Pretty certain that if you could/they made any difference, a company like Ktec/GDI etc etc would have released one years ago.
