Sand it down Nick, will take you half an hour. Then take it to them. If not, I bet you sending it to my local Sprayer, getting it sprayed, then sending it back would be less than £280!
Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project
Nice that it is quite an easy problem lad, great stuff!
Car looks great in the photos from the track day :)
When do I get a lift?
Jamie
Both have very mild oil strippers in them, hence if someone like me spills petrol on their car when filling up they have to go home, polish the area, reapply the melted sealend and wax and then calm down with a brown paper bag.
Hai
Full camber, castor and tracking was 60 notes at Tweaks, but may have been "in the trade" prices for Birchdown.
Did a great job on the camber and castor, but the tracking is not 100% so will be bobbing back sometime soon.
Full external detail. No engine/interior.
Wash down inc snow foam
Claying if req
Two stage polishing
Sealent
Wax
Wheels polished and sealed
Tyres dressed
Trims dressed
Windows polished
Just read the last couple of pages Paul, very very nice, I am back in Manc at the moment, but need to clear my house in Leeds around June time so will be popping in to see you and the car!
Cheers,
Jamie
God I remember that black beast Trev, good times mate.
I would suggest a quick email over to them, highly doubt you will get anywhere, but they might show some good will towards another one/replacement?
Christ that has to be a good two/three years ago?
Mine hasn't leaked or fallen apart, it does now sit at a funny angle though since it has turned when fixing it to the Karcher.
Have you spoken to where ever you got it from Trev?
Was in CYC group buy?
There was a thread on this lad the other week.
Have noticed that you are in the NW, quite happy to sort it for you if you bob over. I have a machine polisher so will bust through it in no time.
Very similar to this;

Oh no, he has bought them, so he knows what they look like, because he is a bright spark and has spent a couple of hundred pounds on wheels, but instead of putting them on his car to see what they look like, he wants a picture.
Well done, you get a special star; :star:
So you "BOUGHT" them, and then wonder whether they will look good on your car.
You really do make me laugh Ed. Can you actually drive? Or is it just fun to come on CS when it's the easter holidays and you get time off primary school?
