I never used to see many vts's around anyway. All I ever saw was fake ones (tarted up 1.4's) and vtr's. Pug 106 gti's have always been rare round my way too. Folk near me much prefer fiesta's.

I've seen the red mk1 for sale, - does it still have the front splitter on it ? - is the front mesh in the bumper red ?? - do you have the centre caps for the wheels ?

I'd keep them, just get the replaced with new ones.

As per the other thread, is was paying £700 to insure the car, I tried a comparison site & I could not get a quote from the people I was with, I don't get it tbh. Specialists like greenlight, noel dazely etc are the way to go imo, they actually know what the car is, most of the others don't...

I forogt to say about the dreaded squeal at about 10mph to stop, awful noise. Even with copper grease etc, they still did it.
