Matt - good banter that, if I do say so myself !
Silver pods, err no chance, I hat silver pods, they only good - on silver vee's.
Backbox wise, lol ! It's been painted in high temp paint. I'm not forking out for a k-tec one etc, when my one is fine.
Re: Seeing as it post up pics of you vee ...
The sticker is a renault f1 world champion sticker it has 2005 & 2006 under the garlands. Just clocked the wheels, oh yeah:S
... and I was feeling a bit left out:dapprove: Yesterday I took a trip round to Pettsi's for a detailing of my car, I lent a hand & got all giddy over the claying :o
I wasn't sure what to expect really, i've never had my car clayed or detailied at all since i've had it (18 months) The clay...
No your not the only one with the problem - there are a few threads on here with mention of this.
Either get another standard wheel that hasn't melted (circa £100 -120 or so) secondhand.
Or go for a re-trim, circa £120 -200 or so.
Got mine down to 35 miles left yesterday, no lights came on, the needle was in the red. There was literally no where to fill up as until I got to a service garage (I was on a motorway) - then I got raped for £57.15 !! On some high end BP shizz.
Great stuff, cracking pics there. Cars are ace too.
I also just spotted the Illiad Mk2 vee - with full crean interior, never seen an i.d packed one before !
This pic is my favourite, the cars nice too ;)
I'm liking the white 430 scuderia's parking style :approve:
Some great cars there, a very very nice selection:cool:
Check out Mr test driver bloke in his prototype merc (second to last pic)
My rears had a couple of thousand left in them & I didn't really want to get them changed yet.
One has a had a bit of a slow puncture for a bit, but there's nothing in the tread etc (wheel off, full inspection) It could have been the valve though, it would lose a couple of lb in a week or so...
I'd deffo get a proper valver rad, it gets mighty hot in that bay !
I think that years ago when I had my valver I got a R19 16V fan & modded the bracket to fit (something like that)
A R19 16V rad might do you too - have to check though.
^ Sorry, that's complete bs if ever I heard it !
Someone on 40k + worried about vee running costs, right on
Apart from the aux & cambelt change (the expensive one) servivcing isn't too bad.
Insurance for me is under £700, i'm 27 full ncd no points etc etc.
Tyres - jusr paid out...
