I run the RS192 with all silencers and cat still in place, its pretty quiet. louder than standard but not by much. I use the car daily and don't find it intrusive at all I believe the only quieter system is the fully silenced miltek I also ran a janspeed for a while, that was fairly quiet too...

same rules apply, brembo of some form if you can get them, solid vented, and decent pads that wont fade/surrender with a bit of heat in them I have no experience of pagid pads, always used ferodo or CL

aren't brembo HC's like 30 quid anyway so dirt cheap? them and a set of ds2500 or CL RC5+ and done imo

cross threaded them? you can fit much much longer bolts as the hols go right through the hubs, but what happens is the wheels wont turn as the bolts foul on the hub. so 45mm should wind all the way in easily

as above, phase 1's had two inline cats so yes that's normal :)

that's bad, I commute 12 miles each way a day in the 182, averages 39mpg on the clock and pretty much exactly that when I work it out too. so as above, lambda pre cat would be my first port of call and then reset the clocks
