I have a one on the mk1, works great, make sure you get the one with the 2 components, one that fits to the box itself and on for the lever in the car. for the full speedy gearchange experience :)
no idea on extra wear from that specifically, my gearboxes usually go bang anyway, lol!
Re: Newbie from Yorkshire! Clio 182 Full Phatt
welcome and wouldn't bother with I/k, get a decent panel filter and pop the RS tuner 98ron map on or if your anywhere near Leeds go see Paul@RStuning
140 for a snappy including return post, on top of that you have to pay to send your wheel and there is a 45 returnable deposit upon you sending your old wheel back.
i'm going guess they may scrub a little on the rears, I have 10mm rear spacers, 7 j and et37 on that profile tyre (so no stretch) and it rubs on the back a bit over big bumps on cooksports
I don't actually trust any insurance company in the event they actually have to pay out, I reckon they will do literally anything to not
as such I will always go with the cheapest on the basis that they will try to f**k me so why pay more
for comparison, when I fit the summer wheels which are ET37 Williams wheels (15" and 195/50 section tyres) it does scrub a bit, not badly, but a bit. and the ET37 to 43 difference is....... 6mm ;)
I have just turned 30 this year, which I think has helped on the other cars and the 182 has come down by 50 quid this time around
and tbh I haven't really checked other cars either, having mostly insured Clio's over the past 10 years.
its just interesting to look and I was quite surprised!
stupid cliosports
and Dave, that's proper man maths that is, save 100 on the insurance and loose 4k on the servicing and upkeep (enough to buy and throw away two 182's ;) )
