it is back together ;-) these were from a bit back its been painted since and i put all the interior back in last week on thursday, hopefully tomorrow i can refit the exhaust and take a few 'finished' snaps....sooooo excited!lol

rails and all other smoothing was done right this time with metal, filler was all removed and binned! tigger - the detailing session made me see all the problems with it lol sambo - place called l.w. smart repairs in alfreton mate, not cheap but very good

cage is not going lairy mate, and no roof lining will be going in, but i think you'll approve anyway ;-) i have a single bucket and harness which will be going in

2 lads, both called matt off this site have owned it between then since around then? first guy had first batch of bodywork done on it in birmingham so not miles from there. other matt who owned it before me lived in essex so likely not to be him

best bet is the g40, same engine with a supercharger for 120bhp can cam this lump aswell to over 100bhp with literally just a cam timed in properly. standard management can cope with it and will adapt, WIN believe people have put all sorts in them tho for some serious either cash or home...

front is just about recovered by the gti spec grill etc, back is still gash, backwards step in terms of looks from the mk5 imo

i stripped the car, took all the panels off and attempted to prep the interior for paint, stripped the tar out etc etc so i've done some bits n bobs, probably saved a couple of days labour on it
