One drive out and I’m chasing a horrendous rattle 🤦🏻‍♂️😂 On track days it was bearable as it disappeared over 2k revs but on the road it’s almost constant.

I brought engine mounts before I got the car 🫣😂 But the F4R is staying, just not standard. Winter project 👌🏻

Taxed, tested and used in the rain this weekend.

Cooling package upgrade done. New rad, hard line pipe work, low temp thermostat, OE fan, oil cooler and new intake setup. Also new set of rear lights.

not sure but would also be interested to know. What you trying to achieve? PureMotorsport do a higher pressure pump.

Low temp thermostat gone in along with a custom 40mm core alloy rad. Also fitting a Mocal oil cooler setup, so cooling this should be a doddle. Few bits to sort along the way like hoses and intake.

Radiators leaking so some upgrading a few bits.

Mallory’s a great track. More technical than it looks. I was hoping to there as live 20 mins away.

Defo worth a try. Not sure if the cup racer links are different to the standard car?

Stringed the car and first look of the PureMotorsport EE brackets fitted.

Yeah I can adjust the caster with them and pull the wheel back slightly so it shouldn’t ruining the bumper and wing.

All the PMS cup racer suspension is now fitted. Just waiting on little things to finish it off.

9th November I managed to get on at Mallory Park and the car survived the whole day. Was much busier than the last track day being a Sunday but really enjoyed the car. I really need some sticky tyres as the conti road tyres aren’t up to much on track. I love how the colour of this stands out...

Changes being made now it’s done a track day.

I defo enjoy the build but had had enough of the MK2. Little things like the manifold stopping the rocker cover coming off, I couldn’t get comfy in the seat as I couldn’t get it back far enough with the cage it had and few other bits then when I looked at racing it, adding up replacement parts...

Plan to race and the Mk2 would have been to costly for parts. Plus I’m I wanted a new cage to mount the seat further back. Wasn’t planning a 200 but this come up.

Started stripping the interior out as it’s rather tired and have some plans already.

This 👌🏻 Kept my K20 and gearbox, already have the engine mounts to mount it aswell 😂

Shells gone now. Have a few bits to sell still which I’ll update in the for sale section when I’ve got some pics. Replace has been sort, it actually arrived a week or more ago before I sold my shell. Storm shell off to its new home.
