I take it that it didn't go through the insurance ?? If the car has needed to be jigged - i'd guess that it would now be recorded (cat d etc)
If your car has to be inspected, take it off & but it back as it should be. At the end of the day your not insured as you didn't declare it.
It depends on if you want the hassle of selling your car then looking really.
If your not fussed about taking a hit on the price you get for yours I say part ex it.
Or alternatively look for the car you want as you want (LY) then sell yours ?
