I'd take a clio tbh, unless it was an mr2 turbo. A standard mr2 (the mk2 g reg shaped one) Is clio valver (clio 1.8 16v) pace - nothing more. What's your budget ??

When ever I go & look at a car I always look at it first & if i'm interested go back & look at it again - this way you may notice something you didn't the first time. Tbh if my car was up for 9k there's no way i'd accept 8k for it, he'll prob drop £500 if your lucky, but some people don't...

Ouch ! Not good news at all, the cambelt kit from renault is about £80 that includes the idler, tensioner & belt etc, but my guess is that it'll have some bent valves.

Cool, my dads got a flame red 172 which I borrow every now & again. Tbh I really wouldn't worry about getting winter wheels, but if you want some i'd say just go for a set of 16" steelies from a laguna - assuming they are the right offset etc, but your car will look sh*t with them on !

Aren't there any cheaper mods (8k for a turbo conversion -ouch !) you could get done to the engine of the lupo ?? It looks cracking, i'd keep it tbh.

They look loads better than I thought they would, I thought that the colour would look odd against the blue, but it looks cool.

That looks to be a very,very early valver (yes I know it's a J reg) but it's got the early seats & that renault badge (the small square one) on the door pillars. If it checks out (loads of paperwork etc) go for it, with a bit of a tidy up it could be a bargain. 97k is sweet fa for a mk1 tbh -...
