i agree with that !
they look soo nice, but mines just cost me almost £700 !! in one hit, (it had a new clutch, service, front brakes & will be getting some tyres next week!)
but then again its the price you pay for owning a decent hot hatch
there isnt any thing i would change about it...
my mate had a yellow W reg gti, which he sold about a month ago,
nothing went wrong with it & he used to give it a bit of stick every now & again, his one looked like this:
http://erc.qmuc.ac.uk/cliosport/gallery/full/1076977065__p106s6.jpghe only sold it to buy an s2000 & hes 22 as well !!
i (well my dad mainly, i helped a bit) did them earlier on,
to be honest they were a piece of p*ss to do, so now ive got some brakes & new hoses, just gotta let the brakes bed in now !!
jay & ben, u 2 want to chill out boys !
;)
ive only ever seen metal ones, mine are grey,
as far as i know there is no way of securing them so they cant be nicked,
i lost 2 as i fitted them on wrong, doh
and some fcker stole 2 of them down saarfend the other week,
so its runnig with out them now, but ive got replacements, just...
as above,i need new discs and pads on the front of my 16v, (valver)
which dot brake fluid do i need, and how much of it.
the car is standard, so im going to keep the brakes standard.
the top end is 130mph (according to a 1995 brochure)
0-60 is 7.7 secs, although autocar did in less back in the early 1990s
to be honest all this is on here (some where) so it may be better to do a search.
