I used to own a 1.2 16v and drove a few 8v's and the 16v is much better and revs much more freely. I think the performance figures speak for themselves as well......
8v ---- 58bhp ---- 0-60 15 secs ---- top speed 98mph
16v ---- 73bhp ---- 0-60 13 secs ---- top speed 106mph
£30 quid fine and NO points if your pulled for them......but 3 strikes by the pigs and you get points, that is the system most police across the country use i belive
cheers, i'm up @ the ski slope from time to time instructing, i'll keep an eye out for you next time! I'm quite likeing the black plates, something a bit different anyway!

if you were after a VTR you could probs get one and insure it...only group 6 i think. but if you were going down the clio route i would advise a DCi 100bhp insurance group 5. Then when you are 20 go for a 172/182 etc....before 20 the cost of insuring a 172 is mega, @ 20 it still breaks the bank...
I go to Heriot Watt Uni and live in edinburgh at the moment just opposite the haymarket pub....and my car is always parked near there, so quite possibly me!
Where is the best place to get my car serviced in the Edinburgh area, i don't wanna use a main renault dealer because they are rubbish.
Cheers folks

Citroen always have their 0-60 specs quite conservative, as if it has a full tank of fuel or a passenger in the car. Probs not much in it but the saxo will probs handle better but also has the higher 'chav' factor.
Comes down to which you prefer to drive!
Some wallpaper size ones for you all!!

Yeah my 182 is comming up for it's 1st service! Will be going to darlingtons in Harlow, lookers in chelmsford are crappy, as i discovered when i had to get my old clio serviced (they didn't stamp the book, 'lost' my oil cap, had 20 miles extra on the clock, and refused me another car to run...
