    Help me diagnose? (Video inside)

SDame here, bit of a whine. Dephaser doesnt knock until oil is warm, and thats not a knock on that vid. I'd give it an oil flush and consider a new aux belt kit as they are every 36k, not 70k like cambelts

    BET. MOD. EVAARR

So, I decided I was bored of the standard pov-spec wheel in my Phs1. It wasn't even a proper sport one, as the horn buttons were missing. So I bought Iceman's Sabelt wheel off him. Given it's been used in his racecar, it was a little grubbier than I expected, so I got the suede cleaner out...

    Cambelt issues!

The tensioner should be changed, along with ALL the parts it comes with. Who was the renault specialist that changed it? And where are you located?

My car sounds like a scooby!

hang on. Your plug is snapped in half?? You mean the tip part that the lead goes onto, or the actual full plug, ceramics and all? If its just the tip, then this is why your lead wont fit back on, because the top will be stuck in it. Have a look before trying anything else.

    Cambelt changes

Car might be mint bodywise, but make sure you have checked everything else. Service history, tyres need replacing? Brake discs look ok? (dont forget, the rears have the bearings in and are about £90 a pair). Is it on standard exhaust which will likely fall off in a month?

My car sounds like a scooby!

Easiest check first is to pull off each injector plug one by one, see if one doesnt alter how it's running. That is the cylinder that has the issue.
