I kinda hate drying! So many f**king water traps!!!!!!!
Favourite? If it's a lazy Sunday on my own car? Waxing is awesome, or the QD just after. On most cars, doing the tyres last, the whole car would look s**t with 100% correction and no tyre gel, that is a fact.
I always leave it until...
For "polishing" foam apps are great. AF do a nice one as do Gtechniq. For cleansing MF offers more bite for engrained dirt.
All very fussy! That's me.
Those waxmates look large Dave.
Wash:
Dodo Juice sponge, I still love it, otherwise Cquartz Mitt.
Shampoo i'm still yet to settle on a really good one. Lusso is so special but shout out to Born to Be Mild.
SnowFoam i've tried that many, still love Turtlewax Cherry (trade secret) :o Quite hard to get.
Decon...
Swisswax Shield. User friendly, lasts superb, smells amazing, boutique feel. Possibly pick up a pot on DW 90% full for £80.
The fact PB have no stock shows how well it is reviered. Similar to Glasur it punches above it's weight in the range and for the price range of boutique waxes I don't...
Looks immense mate! So cool in Red! Shiny Red!
Lols at having to do the roof! Good fun!
I don't have much experience with black top Dan. We used to use it on windows! Isn't it less abrasive than Srp et al?
Also Srp has wax in it incase you maybe need to leave just Srp on some cars.
I would add, I don't rate those cheap ebay ones for nice waxes. If you're first into detailing then fine, if not I still love the Megs 2 pack yellow apps.
The bilt hamber ones are a lovely size and the Swisswax ones are the best i've used. Sadly ££.
MF ones are okay off Cyc/i4d etc but the...
There was no chav tag. The plates though are the epitome of chav, in turn you're practically stereotyping the full car from enthusiast, to Scoobaru racer boi.
I love that you chose Purple Haze. Such an awesome original wax. My use of it in this thread will never leave me...

Old school products!
Ah indeed I do. It ran on my Brothers car for 2-3 months, heavy miles and no washing. Also on my bosses Porsche for over 3 months, small miles and garaged, I eventually stripped it for testing others.
Can't complain. I like topping it with a carnauba spray. Field Glaze etc.
Surely the power isn't the issue in the Clio?
Please remember manufacturers restrict cars for their own gain. My ST was 150bhp from factory, bare in mind it's a 2.0 petrol, ford could have gone for 200bhp without trying.
It's not always a component issue.
