I'm not sure it would lower the price. Russ imo would want to do his own work knowing everything is done to his standards.
Imagine how many miles you'd cover after de-tarring the car?
Wheels i'd agree with though it will save you money but i'd sell the C5 and possibly G1 and put it towards...
I would leave it all for Russ to do if you're doing it. By the time you've bought all the products you'll seriously be better off just adding it to the detail.
Euphoria? That the one that looks, smells and spread like Tripple?
Cherry Glaze is a tad thinner with less bite and more fillers. Very good product, comes alive like most via DA.
C1/4/5 is still decent on trim actually. Dlux, beading better. Durability no doubt stronger on the GT stuff as the paintwork tests i've seen.
They just don't seem to work well without constant c1.5/c2 top ups. Cquartz works immense without reload imo. Although at least for the first week...
Will be grand mate, it just won another product test on paint vs some others including that 22PPLE coating. I have heard nothing but good things about dlux and uk on wheels, yeah dlux on the wheels.
The new GT stuff is really poor imo. There is no getting away from the fact Cquartz now pisses...
Just pay someone. Enhancement detail and ceramic coatings allround. Plastics, wheels, paintwork. I'd want Cquartz products on the paitn and wheels and G1 on my glass. Buy the G1 yourself even.
Seriously get it done and you'll realise just how long the paint stays swirl free and cleaner for...
Thanks Ally, should be very easy to clean now! Let me know if you want me to give it a quick wash/top some point soon. The Impreza should be fun.
It is indeed! Remember the picture I sent you from the PH advert with you in it? Fun times!
BWAB''S'S!
Yup. Coat everything in it. ;)
That nanolex spray is a tad expensive at £24 for 100ml but i'm majorly impressed with the finish and it's darkening of plastics.
It's not about using it often tbf, as you know you can't correct your car 3 and 4 times a year. Ideal for glazing in between correction etc.
Great little tool to have. It is an outlay though. If you have some time on your hands you can make it pay for itself.
A chap I know used to have one when I was a kid. My Dad used to fix it weekly for him. ;)
Kept it in an old garage where we used to play footie. Was a stunning think nearly 20 years ago.
Cheers Neil. Yeah Maxwell's can't really be beaten power wise. Kinda defies all logic in itself.
Good luck with the car though, glad to see a Ford man back in a Ford. ;)
Neil did you have a look at Maxwell's? Not sure if he ever advertised it or not but I know he was considering it. Another car we look after paintwork wise.
I can only assume the 650 one was Maxwell's? I don't any other running that.
Ah so you bought David's car. I speak to him every few days, lovely chap.
I had to laugh when he told me the Gtr idea was on hold and he was going to have to use the RS4 in the mean time. God forbid eh!
Danny the previous owner of the Frs owns the RS4 in the background of my Trophy pics. :)...
