It's a de-nibber. When a panel is re-painted dust particles can sit on the surface, they are then flattened and polished out.
I'm not a fan of them but they can be useful. Festool make some of the finest products in their sector.
The fact you can make a stamp for £5 or buy one off evay to me makes receipts way more important!
I had about 10's of thousands of pounds worth of receipts for the Frp. Way more important to me.
Yeah he's trying to be smart. 90 odd % of the finish is in the prep but a wax/sealant/ceramic can add to the finish.
Even a glaze can darken paint on a perfect surface.
Tell him to keep buying poundland wax as it doesn't matter. Or Collinites 476 because it last longer than Zymol Royale...
One week we compare the Focus RS with the meg and Astra then the next it's the ST.
I think even the journos have missed the whole point of this ST. I need to watch the video again.
Wow. Love that Frs even more! Stock look running that kind of power!!! My kind of car! Reliable?
The flat bottom wheel changes the car. I'm so jealous of a friend who has one in his Dsg V6.
You'll get better durability with TP underneath but depending on the state of paint Tripple might give a better finish under TC.
I like both but TP doesn't add anything to my box if i'm honest.
Toby FK will probably outlast Shield and imo Exo also. It doesn't last aslong as some claim.
Ceramic sealants on there own are superb at that. Russ is really rating opti-coat 2.0 just now. Quite a simple sealant but monster durability.
Why not just throw some FK or 476's on it? If he's...
It's worrying though, if you don't know the basics then how can you care for another persons car. Which is probably the 2nd most expensive thing they'll ever buy.
I noticed you neglected to reply to my earlier post.
My point was going to be, Clio paint can be rock hard so that kind of correction on BG may lead to the oils filling.
That can be a good thing on quick details though aslong as the customer knows.
