I changed from an Elise to the V6, I did this for a number or reasons.
My work place chnaged and the Elise is not a good car for the motorways most days of the week.
In addition getting into and out of the Elise was a pain in the back side.
The V6 is far more comfortable ro every day...
Provided it is not an import they were fitted with a Tracker before being delivered to the Dealer.
Make sure that you have all the paperwork for it as you will have to transfer ownership and also I think your insurance Company will require a copy of the Certificate of Installation.
General chips at the front. ( may be a bit late as you have already seen the car and should have raised any points then.
Check service book to ensure servicing has been carried out correctly.
Before driving home check oil, water, washer bottle, all lights work, A.C. works, radio O.K with...

My manual does not state a time limit for the A or B Service.
Oil change "Special Conditions" Renault recommends an oil change every 6,000 miles or at least once a year.
From this I would suggest an A or B Service should be yearly.
I use the car every day so car serviced at 12,000...
Simple answer look in your manual.
Mine is quite clear, you have an A & B service, A =12,000 miles and B = 36,000 miles.
Oil change for special conditions every 6,000 miles or at least once per year. (low mileage cars come under this in my view)
Timing belt = 72,000 miles or 5 years...
Have a look in your policy and see if you have to go to a certaqin company, Tesco is Autoglass.
Just phone them up with your policy number and they do the rest.
Get a list from the garage of past owners and ask if you can phone them.
