Thanks for the comments chaps. Mpg took a nose dive today. That flapper mod makes revs a little addictive in the right environment.
Need to find a tunnel!
There's is a big difference in terms of what they are. For eg Tough coat can be used over most things like glazes etc C1.5 is more a nano style top up. TC is similar to an old fashioned spray sealant like Werkstat Acrylic.
If you're looking for something similar Autobrite's Project32 might do. ;)
Joey your car is mental.
Off topic do you need to have a Flickr pro account to post those pictures like that? Do you resize before uploading to flickr.
I use Flickr but don't post pictures with the little tags. I use copy image location and then past in the img box. Retarded I know. Rob says...
G1 is the only thing worth bothering about mate but rain x isn't a bad alternative. Just won't last that long really. It's also the same price as G1. False economy.
Just buy G1 apply 1 layer with a make up pad and then remove it. Then sell it to me. :) You'll use like 2 ml and it'll last for ages.
Cheers Dan. I really like the colour. Part of me didn't want Red because not blowing my own trumpet but it would look immaculate after detailing, attracting even more c***s/attention to it. Was in the back of my mind.
How's yours?
Pmsl! <3
Cheers Chip, like I said it was bang on what I...
Oh didn't see that mate. I don't really use Wolf's products. Never really appealed to me. Their de-ironizer is blown out the water by Ironx and Z2 gives a better performance than BW and you can use it over the top of anything.
I feel bad even saying it but it feels like a "proper" car, with a "proper" engine. The Frp sounded great but it was all just exhaust. The TT at least sounds like it has some meat to the engine.
Feels nice not to have to avoid every single bump in the road now! Just cruises with minimal effort...
Written that advert yet Dave? :o
Agree about buying clever in the 2nd hand market. I paid nearly less than trade for the TT, it would do megabucks at a dealer. Negates the possiblity of heavy depreciation. Infact I could have driven it home, advertised it and made £700 really for a quick sale.
Mark if you give me your reg i'll properly value your car on Glass. Cap is a little dodgy sometimes and i'll admit Glass' can sometimes read high on the retail. I'll post it up on here if you wish.
Hmm if I only needed 2 seats i'd have bought a Z4 possibly.
Cheers mate, the calipers (1 "l" ;) are proper shat! I did laugh when someone at work said they were nice! Behave, i'll probably do them silver. Although Black would mean I wouldn't actually have to worry about dirt. Should get that...
Chappers answers it quite well. Working in the repair industry you actually get to know depths of each stage also which help dramatically.
Common sense comes into play also. My Frp had a lot of paint on it because it was hand painted after the factory paint had been put on. Plenty of clear coat...
You had much use out of Tripple Dave? Good results? I think it's a great product, especially as a modern Srp product, much better!
They should make their Glaze similar without the carnauba content. Rejuvenate but a bit more glaze like, slicker and more fillers.
