To be fair his wife probably never got into 5th gear.

A decent panel beater will "dress" most of the damage out after removing the door card and it should require filler but if "dressed" correctly it should be a minimal amount. You don't want a new quarter panel fitted. Oh and make sure they know it's not a solid colour red. It'll surprise you the...

To grab the bolts you would have to ruin the plastic.

About a day probably!

The bolts are captive in the platic so you can't grab the bolts without ruining the plastic. You'll see them as you open the flap.

Fire up a thread in the wanted section mate. I'm sure there will be someone local who will at least have a gander at it. Hopefully can get it out.
