Google it mate. JD should be along soon to help you out.
Sometimes a good wash and brush with apc might get the polish out. Failing that smooth peanut butter/wd40/rapeseed oil iirc.
Purple haze is fantastic mate.
HD is more if you're not that bothered about waxing every month so it'll last 6months+ in some cases and not need topping up.
Dodo is more for the enthusiast who enjoys washing and waxing every now and again. 2 different products.
Very hard to start people out mate.
Depending on what car i'll show them what to use. Something that won't stain trim. I'd always recommend AG HD.
Probably a filler heavy glaze underneath. SRP will just get caked on and go all over the black trim.
No one is actually talking about cheap xenon bulbs. We're talking about xenon headlights.
Fitting xenons to any car doesn't mean they won't work or adjust correctly. They will be fine. You said retro fitting them was wrong or similar.
You're wrong again mate.
I had xenons fitted to my 1.2 and once adjusted they were perfect. If there was heavy weight in the car I would electronically adjust the headlights from inside the car.
The same reason my HIDs are legal. They are set up correctly.
Goodj was saying that as a recent joke on here, it's not his fault you didn't know about the joke.
Mate if people can't see how having lights on is more visible than having lights off them what is the point of showing them proof?
The fact that DRL's are now law is pretty much proof to me. Why...
Is it like an inferiority thing with post counts?
Everyones opinion is welcome. Goodj's has less than 3k posts and has put across his opinion it means f**k all. And never will.
f**k my post count, people are being retarded and they deserve to be told so.
I'm off to tell the EU that we now don't need DRL's. Rhino the sarcasm was on purpose for your benefit.
I know the reason this place has went downhill and it's not the "established" members fault. f**king sick of...
Ah yes I saw a man yesterday go by me at 90mph to the shop iirc.
Ridiculous comparison. People are being ridiculed because they stated that having lights on during the day don't make you more visable.
That opinion alone is retarded and deserves ridicule and pointing in the right direction.
Thanks guys wasn't sure.
215 it is. I can't find the asymmetric 2's in my size mate so going for Vredestein Sessantas like the FRS mk2 boys.
I was looking at Conti 5's aswell but again can't get them in my size.
Sorry so the fact they are now law on all new cars post 2012 iirc is a waste of time because surely DRL's can't make you more visible in the daylight by your reckoning...
Lights make you more visible whether it's sunny and 800 degrees outside or not! There is no other opinion it's a fact!
Think they are 7j wide and run 215's as standard just wondering if there is any advantage or problems moving up to 225?
I'm not a fan of larger sidewall so i'll maybe stick with 215/40/17 but considering my options before buying.
I'm due to order 4 in the next few weeks. My tyres are Goodyear...
Are you serious?
Are you telling me a light outside during the day isn't more visible than no light? Maybe it just blends in to the sun/sky!
I feel like making a safety video ffs!
Lols! It wasn't a great car. You can buy one for 900 quid these days though!
I think it was meant to be the grown up version of the Puma. Weird time for Ford back then.... the Probe! :quiet:
I remember my dad standing in the Showroom of the peoples garage he ran saying the Probe sitting there...
I can see a coupe at some point. I actually think it's exciting times for Ford.
The success of the FRS will hopefully keep their mind focused and realise there is still a market for fast Flagship Fords.
