By sounds of it you need full aux belt kit and full cambelt kit. Around here prices would be around £400-£500 I'm worried about mine breaking and it's not due for 2 months.

Get it done! It's over on age if it's a 172 and should be changed every 36k so should be on it's second. Guessing cambelts not been done either?

The Steering is epic, sharpess really is, would be good on track, but the way i drive there to harsh. Was very bumpy/bouncy on the evo triangle. I've never driven anything other than a standard car though, my 172 had some cheap PI springs on but they soon came off.
