A heavy citrus based pre-wash is a good idea mate, also i've been using a small sample of hazafe recently, very good product and breaks down dirt so so well.
Claying doesn't always remove wax, sealants. Depends how much pressure is used and what strength clay you're using.
An amazing colour. The man deserves an award.
The design team on the 200 need shot.
The lacks of pics in this thread is verging on infractionzzzz!
No fogs, hero!
Thanks mate. I don't buy crap, I buy once.
Although I did own collinites 476! :o Z8 will top up with a little protection after a wash Z6 will be a simple wipe down product! I use a lot of it!
Have a look at my last detail and my next detail aswell should show a few different products.
Fantastic machine mate. Thanks for putting them up eventually! ;)
The JDM model has grown on me a lot recently and the pictures don't do this shape justice.
Don't base your opinion on those mate Z6 and Z8 are in a different league! They will show gloss for a week on a daily car imo.
Think of Z8 as Z6 with some added protection. :) Z6 is the best QD on the market.
Yellow belly get Z6 or Z8 instead of gloss. Get Jett to use and Lsp and use it...
It's gloss enhancing is incredible imo mate. Make sure you have protection underneath it though, it'll only last about a week it isn't really a spray sealant as you would think. It offers minimal protection. :)
One of my favourite products.
Ah no problem mate good to see you started with low cut. Yeah Ultrafina is for refining, in some cases you can go green/yellow/blue but in most cases green/blue is fine.
SRP is definitely not a substitute for the UF mate, there's no real reason to use SRP after correction work. Maybe look into...
Seen this on Dw mate, nice job.
Couple of things, that paintbrush that close to the wheels is a massive no no! If the metal bit catches the wheel it'll take a decent chunk off. And they don't look like cheap wheels.
Other thing, with FC+ even with a DA you'll leave holograms so it's a good...
Lols I was editing my thread to include vics when the phone went. Good taste mate.
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/victoria-wax/victoria-wax-3oz-concours-wax/prod_312.html £19.95
Bargain, known for it's looks and beading over it's durability.
Also maybe worth looking at the sealant route...
Hmmm, Dodo stuff is really good mate, not the most durable so i'd go for purple haze "pro"
Buy a sample pot for £10.. http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/Dodo_Juice_Purple_Haze_Pro30_1.html
That'll do your car 8-10 layers if you're really easy and apply it thinly. Get a dodo finger mitt if...
To save money i'd use the jett every 3 washes or something and buy a better detailer like Z6 from CYC. Much better than gloss.
Also JD would you recommend Prime Strong or just Prime for Revs? Maybe just go for the normal stuff especially with Jett underneath.
Loller! Oh wait..
It was a little gutting this morning, to be honest it's sitting outside my work in a dusty industrial estate so there will be a layer of dust over it now anyway!
Love dusty waterspots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great minds.
I washed the car yesterday while it was nice mate and wiped down with Z8 (gives me wood) done the glass and tyres, car looked great.
I awoke this morning to find an inch of frost on every panel and every window! FML!
Loller! Your stuff delivered yet Revs?
I wouldn't say you need the kit, just Prime or Prime Strong and the Jett.
You'll have cloths and applicators anyway, saving yourself £20 odd quid. Glos isn't required as much on Acrylic I don't think, works better on the likes of JD's solid/flat colours.
Re: Cliosport Saturday - The Launch of a New Era - 30th July 2011
Thanks mate, makes sense. :)
Really hope so mate, it's pretty far south and a decent time of year so really hope we get a good day and a bit of Sunburn! ;)
I'm guessing a lot of Admin/mods will need to stay over due to travelling?
Re: Cliosport Saturday - The Launch of a New Era - 30th July 2011
Luke when you mentioned arena is there a different part to the museum? I just thought we would be in the front car park, interesting. Sounds great mate.
