Superb Jim bob!
That was actually quite bad condition wise, black showing it up even more.
Thanks for posting dude. Little Trophy in the back ground aswell?
With the problem with "giving it a go yourself" is the money that you need to spend.
You can do it cheap if you want but i'd rather pay someone that already had the stuff there unless I really wanted to do it myself and get into detailing, then it becomes an expensive hobbie (if you do it right)
Not the Clio, ahem but yeah I do it a lot. I stay even closer to my work now so the morning run is like 3 minutes compared to before when it was 15minutes down a B road.
I try and get out in it a lot, it's also set for an overhaul in March so i'll be desperate to drive it even more after that.
I always wash after Tardis, it would probably ruin your clay if you didn't. It's easy to ruin clay then complain to the maker, when usually it's stuff left on the car that degrades it.
Just my 2p. Tardis will take off a lot of crap before the claying part which is always good, the less stuff on...
Poor people are showing up in this thread I think.
Truth be told they can charge whatever they want and people will still buy it, look at the macbook! Can you imagine what kind of desktop/laptop you could buy for the same price?
Do they care? Not one bit.
Good tips Russ.
Maybe use the tardis first next time Luke? Will save you time and clay, tardis would have taken those spots off in no time at all. :)
Looks fab mate, RB comes up very well from what i've seen.
Oh and get a sample of ironx for the wheels it'll help get rid of even more crud...
Best colour for the shape of the car but you'd never want own a green one... hero... is...
With the Eibachs like Moby has, that's all that's required. OE is the new scene! ;)
Cheers Turner, I remember seeing them in the older Punto years ago thinking has that got xenons!
Mines are set not to blind people at least, the pattern in the beam setter at work is also perfect so they must be half decent quality.
Are all headlights with glass balls projectors? Or are some just normal?
The puma's all have the "projector look"
The previous owner fitted hids to mine. Thanks god cause the standard lights are as much use as holding a candle out the window seriously.
Hmm I thought it was strange, if anything the Red ones wheels look more like the VTS ones, the "nimrods" suit the car very very well I think, especially on Red.
^ Agreed.
One of the best Gti i've ever seen...
Very little mods as Rich keeps things standard...
Current Spec
• Faulkner 155lb 30mm Lowering Springs with Bilstein B8 dampers
• Pugsport 3inch exhaust system with Motorsport Cat
• 15 inch Peugeot Ouragan 406 wheels finished in Anthracite...
Cracking buy mate, Callum has really looked after it, he has OCD, so i'm not joking everything has to be perfect for him!
Stunning car and the gti's are easily the most legal fun i've had in a car, i'd have one again in a heatbeat.
Pictures are great aswell, decent camera?
