Re: What have you ordered?
Vikan stuff is good mate, I bought a long reach one a few weeks ago with vxr marc's group buy, my wheels are deep so I needed a better brush.
Re: What have you ordered?
I do try. :o
CobyToby, did you order both mate, they really are in a different league, you only need 1 of each or maybe 2 of each at a push. They're lush. :o
Re: The car you wish you never sold... What were they?
I had a very very clean silver 106gti for a while and a very very cheap Fiesta ST. Both cracking cars.
The GTI would have been nice to keep but I moved on up.
I'd doubt i'd sell the FRP unless it was for a lower mileage example.
Pmsl! Ah that old trick, they are 36 for £12 in Costco and people sell them online.
Not bad but there are better deals on ebay. Think I once was desperate and couldn't get to Costco so bought 12 for £5 off ebay a year or so ago.
The Eurow ones I was talking about are blue and high pile. Mostly...

Quite big and a decent price.
What website did you see the Eurow ones on dude?
Costco are the only "work" ones i'll use. There are different types of MF though.
I have just ordered some Poorboy ones from Polished Bliss yesterday for delicate tasks.
My Eurow ones are a nice deep pile and super soft for final wipe downs, other have short piles for removing stubborn or...
It's just like applying lacquer to your car by hand.
Not for me i'm afraid. All you're really doing is applying a layer of lacquer over the original lacquer that's on the car so yes you're protecting you paint but in an unnecessary way imo.
Re: What have you ordered?
Marc did you look at the pro?
I ordered that SV wheel brush yesterday JD, I had to have it! And a couple of megs bottle to decant my glass/wheel stuff into. :)
I'm laughing at his name change. I don't think the guy will be owning up, have you seen the car around before?
Oh the rant wasn't bad though.
Where's Roy's scores on the doors when you need him?
Fantastic mate, I love seeing rare hot hatches in other countries.
2 FRP's have just moved to France from Britain and if I was ever migrating i'd look into taking mine if it was possible.
I think you'd enjoy them so much more in a country with nice weather and better roads.
Jealous? Just a...
Well when I say custom made I mean copied.
With the parts shortage on the FRP and the discs roughly 400 a pair is there companies that will actually copy brakes or is that a ridiculous idea?
I have a new set to go on but I thought once the old ones were off they could be sent away to...
