It's just like applying lacquer to your car by hand. Not for me i'm afraid. All you're really doing is applying a layer of lacquer over the original lacquer that's on the car so yes you're protecting you paint but in an unnecessary way imo.

I have a can in my boots, looks like very good stuff. Last resort though. My car also doesn't come with a spare.
