I just think they ruin the whole look of the car. I wouldn't even bother detailing a car with vinyle on the bonnet bumper, wings ect... it would be a waste of time.
My quarters need chip tape on them but not a piece the size of the car.
You could apply 2 layers Todd but the 2nd layer would just be for coverage, SRP will strip anything that is on the car so it'll also strip layers of itself.
Apply 2 for even coverage and decen filling ability. Apply via DA or by hand preferebly with a polishing applicator like this....
Or...
I hate them to be honest, they just leave the paint looking orange peely and when I detail I want to see an awesome finish not fricking vinyl.
I took mine off the front bumper of the FRP and the quarters.
The same as i'll have the £120 pair of shoes a lot longer than a pair of similar Asda £10 ones that will need replaced every 6 months.
Dammit, relative, relative, relative!
Oi Cletus, pipe down! ;)
It used for sheltering young Indian people, like Warren.
Time is a valuable commodity mate. :(
I wish I could get it all done in one day but sadly I don't think it's going to be possible.
Got so many new parts to fit aswell to get it back to how I want it.
Mines is sitting in my cupboard mate, i'm doing my wheels when they come off to fit the suspension.
it's exactly what I needED to be honest, although my inners are very very clean the brake dust the alcon's shed is ridiculous!
They have metal inserts mate and they "pull" stronger, I actually bought one for my brite gel as it's a little thick for the normal triggers and it was the only one that worked so it's definitely not a gimmick.
