Yeah it was very very stale at one point on here guys especially when JD was off. Me and Markie had a bit of banter. There has just been an influx of new threads really. It's refreshing, I enjoy talking about detaling especially with passionate people who know what they are talking about...

I find collinites the same, dulls the finish slightly with it's durability you sacrifice some looks during the worse weather really. Very excited aboput using the FK now. Hows the 1000p easy on off? Cure a little? Do you bother topping it with any wax?

Cheers mate, really liking the look of the 425 can't wait to try it and the fk1000p might fire a wax over the top of the 1000p! :o Pretty much everytime I wash them, once a week, only takes like 2minutes just whack it on really. Take longer if you have the wheels off and you're doing the inners...

I'm ordering fk1000p with it's 425 QD i'll let you know how I get on. I put 3 coats of 476 on at the start of December, sometimes earlier depending on the weather and it'll last till Febuay easily. I use it on my wheels all year round. Brake dust just washes off.

I think you'll find it was Paul that wanted to meet and grab some pictures and also it was Paul who suggested having one through this way. Infact Edinburgh was Paul's choice! I'm not forcing anybody to come ffs!

By a very small amount. 15 to 17 would make a decent difference but speedos are usually 2-3mph out anyway. Sorry I changed cars Gooch! :o

I went from 195/55/15 to 225/40/17 That's a shock! I miss big sidewalls for kerbs tho, but you end up with massive load going into corners quickly.

Megs doesn't last that long but my tyres are scrubbed and re-applied weekly so it's a moot point. I like a high gloss finish on my tyres also.

R26r bonnet? If it had a little more foocus on the AG that would be stunning!

I use g101(diluted) for stubborn brake dust ect... I think it dulls the wheels slightly so needs a good clean up after using the g101 but it will remove a lot once agitated. Russ i've never heard of that stuff. Looks okay. I've been using megs stuff.

Such Dodo ***** Russ! Did I see windolene mentioned? Oh and cif glass cleaner (industrial stuff) pwns all glass cleaner. IT WILL NOT STREAK no matter how hard you try. I was shocked after using it! Had just bought a new bottle of fast glass it's now redundant and full! :(

It's very good at beading sheeting of water BUT if you use your wipers or put you windows up and down a lot a glass product will work better. It doesn't come off glass as easy as wax does.

The front grilles are slated on mine, I got the missus to sit and do it the last time. The AG stuff I had just didn't last long enough need more 303. Bought a sample bottle the last time. I use megs tyre stuff on my front mud flaps and rear little guards on the bumper.

I really need a new exterior trim product, might be worth a try that stuff. What do you use Ali?

I noticed him mention it a while ago Ali. Not cheap but looks nice. Him and his water baths!
