Very very surprised by the amount saying FRP! I honestly think the decision to sway toward a clio is I've got a puma just not and it won't be a big enough change although I know how much fun the FRP will be. Tbh I'm thinking of leaving the trophy and saving the 1k or so and getting a 182...

I can't find it but it tested FRP Vs integra type R Vs ph1 172. The car was the 'slowest' there but won the test. This was all I found. 0-80mph: ITR: 11.2 172: 12.0 FRP: 13.2 Pembrey: FRP: 1:13.75 172: 1:15.40 ITR: 1:15.48

Nah it was my 2nd car, bit like Alans pearl black one. I got the lights off a 172 write off at my work and fired the standard one it before it went to the scrappies! ;) I would happily retro fit lights into the trophy tbh.

Nah needs to be newer (or an frp) and aren't those group 20 insurance! Get to fook! I did think about a ctr steering just always felt a bit crap, and never gave me the big grin factor.

Could have been perfect with a few more horses. Out handles most cars and rang the ring quicker than a FRS mk1. Just let down by poor power. Most people put the FRS lump into the puma.

That's a good post mate thank you. I think eventually the exclusivity and handling would wear off with the FRP and i'd need something just that little bit quicker and i'm sure the 182 could give me b road handling and a bit of pace.
