Closed before this gets even more silly.

Clio 172 gone ..... new car in!!

Very nice indeed, although I can't help feeling it looks a little dated?

    Chrome has changed?

Im just sulking because it didn't used to. Nothing to do with paranoia, my own laptop so no need to be. I've always been a fan of keeping minimal history and temp files, it's just irritating I now have to open a tab and click through options to do it :-(

    Chrome has changed?

Yeah it does, but this really is irritating me.

    Cliosport Saturday - 30th July 2011

Re: Cliosport Saturday - The Launch of a New Era You can't even get close to the fun of camping in a hotel, although if the right bunch do a night out, involving staying at a hotel, I may be persuaded. BUT, after camping at FCS last year, it was such a laugh, I'd love to do it again

    Bit of Advice...

It's be proved on here, quite a few times, that unless you're doing 25-30k miles a year, you won't really make any saving from a diesel. Pics of the 172? Breaking it can make you a fair bit, if you've got the time and space that is.

    Recaro trendlines

Guy's got to be bent. I messaged him last time he had them up, he was interested in posting me them, as soon as I mentioned I may get someone to pick them up for me, communication ceased.

    TVR engined golf

Few choice exterior changes and that could be awesome. If it's genuine I bet it seriously moves. (Once you've stopped lighting up the rear wheels)

    Chrome has changed?

I'm entirely against keeping a history, have been ever since firefox brought out clear browsing history on close. And yeah, ;)

    172 cup clean (sleeper) lol

I like that, wheels really suit it.

    Me new one.

Great colour and spec. Good choice sir.

    Chrome has changed?

It didn't used to. It used to be a very tidy little thing, now, it's crap. I'm moving to firefox.

    Chrome has changed?

Ok - So when clearing browsing data, it used to be a small pop up box, press enter and it was away, now all of a sudden a whole tab opens and the whole preferences thing opens up. Is this something I've changed by accident? I can't seem to suss it.

Spring Overhaul Part 1! *FRP Content*

There's someone in the new members section you should say "Hi" to Kev. Look forward to part two of the write up.

    Axle Stands

Halfords it is then mate. But what do you deem as a "decent" motorfactor? My local "pokey" little one is amazing.

    Hi :)

Nothing wrong with the Puma, you and Gally will get on just fine.

Passenger door won't lock with Central Locking (Pictures)

Not an issue, there's normally loads of these around and they're not costly. Try "Budgie", he may have one. It's not even that fiddly to change. If you get stuck, don't be afraid to give me a shout.
  20. Rob

    Hi :)

Welcome to the club mate, what have you got at the minute?
  21. Rob

    Axle Stands

Try to avoid buying them from halfords, motorfactors will undoubtedly be better quality and cheaper.

Passenger door won't lock with Central Locking (Pictures)

Replace the whole electrical locking unit, it's what I did. Takes 10 minutes from the point you're at and it solves the issue. Some have said lube-ing up the mech made all the difference, but mine didn't. Got a new mech from someone off of here for £15 and my problem was solved. There's a...

Removing seats and fitting new ones

They're a little bit awkwardly placed, and iirc they're big alen keys, but it's nothing too difficult. (It's how I ended up putting sport seats in my non sport)

Spring Overhaul Part 1! *FRP Content*

Love the attention to detail Kev, nothing short of brilliant. Car looks great in the photo's, car has really got a striking presence too. I want a go! (Oh and snow? WTF?)

Removing seats and fitting new ones

You can actually remove the seats without getting under the car (not the runners though) Take off the bottom covers and it'll be fairly obvious.

    Donnington Picture Thread ... Mine 1st ;O)

Nice pics Dave, car looks just right on track. Mean, purposeful and agressive. Good stuff.
