Can anyone tell me how to remove the trim at the bottom of the doors? Managed to undo it a bit by pulling at it but it's still held on by something, are there any bolts?
Why does wiring up a sub have to be so difficult, doesnt help when it starts bucketing it down
ok just got in and opened my nice new sub :)
Didn't realise 4 gauge was that thick! Are there any guides on installing amps? Just need to know what I need to take the trim apart so I can run the cables through.
Hope it stays dry tomorow...
Was thinking the false floor would need to be bolted to the boot to
the boot anyway to stop the whole thing from flying off, so prob just gonna bolt the sub straight to the boot floor.
Will pop down to b&q at the weekend, how long do you recon the bolts need to be?
anyone used these straps?

look simple enough but not sure if these will be strong enough to stop the sub from flying through my windscreen
Just looking to see how everyone has secured their sub in their boot, pics would be great.
Was going to get some mdf to make a false floor and then screw (??) my sub onto this.
Cheers
Just a quick q

tbh was only going for the active route cause of my limitied skills and it will be easier to install.
So you saying ~£100 sub and amp will sound better than a ~£100 active sub?
I know that by buying separate I'll be able to upgrade bits and pieces later on but not bothered about this as I...
Cheapest I found is £129.99 on http://www.thenavigationcompany.com/products/TN0175_Navman_F20.html?gclid=CJLsxNfxhYkCFSoMQgodkjVxBA
Never heard of the company though...
Hi,
Looking to add a sub to my system and on a tight budget of about £100 so not expecting anything fancy. Been having a look at Fli active subs, which ar Vibes budget range and have been told that they sound ok for the money. So just wondered if anyone on here has one.
Also what would be...
It's like spaghetti junction back there! Anyway heres a pic of the connection, tried to highlight what you're looking for. The aeriel cable is black and fits into the connector in the top left corner, no adapter needed. It sounds like this cable has fallen behind your dash?!?
With the DVD...
Just changed my open Pipercross IK to the Viper, not for performance but for looks :rasp:
Quick q about the cold air feed, didn't get one with it, do I just buy some 85mm ducting and place one end into the cone? Planning to do this and place the other end in the standard place behind the...
You sure you need an adapter? Fitted mine the other week, 2001 Clio, and didn't need one...
What I noticed was that when fitted the face doesn't sit flush with the dash, sad but what can you do.
I have the JVC AVX1, which was replaced by the AVX2, and luv it. Best feature is the giga mp3 which means you can just chuck all your mp3's onto a dvd, no more cd's in the glove box!
