Opinions on Fli active subs

Hi,

Looking to add a sub to my system and on a tight budget of about £100 so not expecting anything fancy. Been having a look at Fli active subs, which ar Vibes budget range and have been told that they sound ok for the money. So just wondered if anyone on here has one.

Also what would be better 10" or 12" and what wiring should I get?

Na, no amp.

So far I have JVC AVX1 and some old Alpine speakers in the front.

Go for the Vibe 12" Active. It sounds great for the money (£100ish).

Yeah Ive got the VIBE active 10" been used for over 3 years now and its great! Been impressed with Fli stuff so far

tbh was only going for the active route cause of my limitied skills and it will be easier to install.

So you saying ~£100 sub and amp will sound better than a ~£100 active sub?

I know that by buying separate I'll be able to upgrade bits and pieces later on but not bothered about this as I don't have any plans for a big install.

i think a bit harsh on active subs there. ones ive heard have been pretty good. Instalation though is barely any differant between active and seperate.

Yeah Im with Ian, my Vibe active is very good and better than many other combos ive heard

haha dont buy a fli sub mate .Check ebay you can get a 12"jbl for around £60 which will do the job!better stil get a second hand one in a box for £40 like i did!
