This really annoys me. My ph1 172 in South Africa was brought into the country, the same as all the other clio sports, from france or wherever, my bonnet catch is rusty as fook, and renault SA said that the recall is only for the european market, and does not affect the SA cars at all!!?!? but...

I have a unichip on my ph1, havent had any problems at all, and its been thru pretty much all types of weather conditions. Gained and extra 7kw's over the std setup and cost a third of the price of a remap :)

found it. might take pics tomorrow when i replace it. was the circlip and rod bracket that bust if you go to page 78 of the gearbox manual, part number 53 and 54 is what went on mine, need to go find new ones at the scrappys tomorrow. funk knows how they went thanks for the help dudes :)
