i have just had a similar problem, but mine was at 3 to 4k revs. turned out that my map sensor was really dirty and needed to be replaced.
See if you can find another clio and swap the map sensors and see if that makes a diff
K i found out that i still have one lambda sensor, and it was giving a fault on the diagnostics, but wasnt the problem, it turned out to be my map sensor, which i replace and car is running 98% better, still feel a slight flat spot between 3 and 4k, and the power loss thing happened only once...
its got 80 000km. no lights, no smoke, all levels are right.. did notice the oil had a few air bubbles in it when i pulled over at a station to check everything, but think thats normal??
So was on my way to work this morning, taking it easy as i always do untill the car is warm, and after driving for bout 20 mins, put my foot down in 4th to change lanes, and the car gave this loud burble and instanly lost power and started to slow down. I hoped it was just a small nothingness...
