2 idiots in an Abarth, video inside

Jason, serious FLOL! Lynden, you don't help yourself in here, some of us who have made constructive comment you've ignored, and just defend/argued about the negative ones. Pouring fuel on the fire or something clever like that....

You can get the original bushes out with a blowtoch, a knife, a screwdriver, a hammer and hacksaw. Fact.

My first car 1.2 RN 1998 clio project

Those alloys are ph2 172 alloys, and are pretty cheap at the moment... You can fit sport bumpers but you need to fit the wings and skirts too and it starts getting expensive. I'll link you to my old 1.2 project thread, if you have a read through, you'll see what you can do to them. How it...

Re: SE Christmas meal... I'm not the biggest fan of Christmas/roast dinners anwyay, so I couldn't care less, just coming for the banter tbh. EDIT: Just noticed, so far not one "normal" user has posted in here, lol! Coloured name crew!

Country road, late at night, who hasn't had a blast? The difference is, he films it.

I haven't got much to say tbh.... you wanted comments on your driving, from what I can hear/see, it seems as though you pander round the corner and only push out of it at the last minute, shift down earlier, get on the revs, and let the power pull you around the corner.

    Accelerator Boost Button on 172's??

Unfortunately he had to remove it, blew the welds on the intake iirc.

It'll pass an MOT fin mate.

    My new ph1 172 :)

Very nice indeed Stu. Get cracking on it now! It's a good standard example, so nothing too heavy ;) Lower it first IMO, remove that exhaust and get some ph2 side strips on it, a massive improvement!!
  19. Rob

    Dual optics fuse

Yep, there is no fuse, that guide is wrong. Basically, it means not being able to have the two of the lamps on the same time or something. To be completely honest, it's not a big deal in the slightest. There is however a fix, which include fitting a relay of kinds, but good fecking luck...

Steering a pringle? FLOL! Next time I see you mate, you'll have to have a go, it's a big difference IMO.

    Wrapping A Ph1 Knob? Possible?

It's metal, but powder coated, so it's scratched. Makes me sad tbh. That was my worry, but I suppose it depends how well it's wrapped. I'll give it a go tonight maybe.

    FAO South London/NW Kent People:

I want to sort out a meet before the weather turns proper nasty, we've still got some sun so maybe be able to get some nice pics, and obviously, none of us will be freezing our tits off. My question to you all, where do you want to see these meets? This part of the world doesn't exactly seem...

    Worthwhile mods for a 172

Not done on my car (yet), but a friend who had them done said mine definitely felt slower and was harder to get power from. (His was remapped too)

    Resistor = Airbag light off.
  29. Rob

    Worthwhile mods for a 172

Coil Overs No, really. If you were around here I'd let you drive mine, then I think you'd know what you had to do. But what I'd do apart from that.... Matched inlets and a remap to go with your exhaust, from what I've seen these do make quite a noticeable difference to power...

    Going from a 1*2 to a Williams

You haven't driven one but you're that serious about buying one? Mental! Daniel, you still have that Williams? WTF? Oh, and I agree on the mk1 love, although it seems to have made a come back with the f4r'ers and the guy who restored the Williams.
