Been reading this thread and have to say it gets better with every mod. The wheels MAKE it, tasteful, subtle mods that complement each other.

I imagine the Sadev gearbox being the biggest difference, coupled with slicks that's where the lap times are the quicker. Obviously a few ingredients like chassis, 4 pots, rollcage, suspension play their part making the Cup racer but imagine the Sadev making the single most difference to that car.

I might be wrong but maybe people don't look into financing the car by borrowing the money from a bank. With the dealers you get the choice of outright finance or the PCP deal which initially lowers the monthly payments but have that balloon payment at the end. New cars are a better interest...

To think you can pick them up for about 10k now, there was a white Cup selling privately for that price when I was looking. It really is a lot of car with the tech for that money, then add in the cost of a map you really do have good car on your hands.

And then with the Renault 4 warranty when they came out in 2013 your hands are tied. I do believe you'll slowly start to see this happening with these from now on and especially next year when the warranties run out. Also it couldn't overshadow the Megane 250 in power

Start figure 189bhp - 172ft/lbs torque Mapped result 226bhp - 250ft/lbs torque Had the ITG filter fitted too. So much better now with that big hike in torque.

The Trophy does look a bit better than the 200. At least with the Cooksports it gives you a better ride height but doesn't compromise the ride.

No spacers fitted, it's not like the 172-182s buried an inch inside the arch. Luckily they site nicely in them.

Had the Cooksport springs fitted yesterday and couldn't resist taking it out somewhere in the 'light' to have a better look. Looks wise it's made a massive difference, it will settle more apparently. The main thing for me is its lost that massive front wheel arch gap and lost that reverse rake...

2 bucket wash today, after the products Ron used its really made it an easy, effortless clean. Cooksport springs are going on tomorrow than another treat for it this Friday.

Cooksport springs ordered, should be with me this Wednesday. IMO the front arch gap is horrific on these (reverse rake look) so the springs should rectify this.

Thanks for all the kind comments, I'm really pleased with it. I feel lucky to have it, I didn't think I'd have the opportunity to be in the new RS especially with the colour and the spec.

Looks like a decent car, nice colour. Subtle things done like springs, silver bulbs, maybe wheels (insurance pending) would make it quite pleasing to the eye. Welcome to the club, enjoy.

Correct, the wheels are going to be refurbed after Christmas. The front tyres are being changed for the correct Dunlop Maxx RTs this Thursday, it's gonna bug me not having any product on them like the rears but hey ho! Cooksport springs next too.
