My outdoor temp gradually starting going up and up recently, then when it goto 60 degrees outside, the display starting flickering and eventually just went off. Is this just a simple job of changing the temp sensor? any idea of how much they are and whether its a DIY or dealers job.

my brakes are fuckin shite. lock up all the time and are quite scary - apparently the caliper might be bent as i get a squeaking pretty much all the time. I also need new rear discs and pads. GREAT!

You're talking pony. we had a laptop where the NIC and touch pad failed, dell came out next day and replaced the motherboard, keyboard and touchpad. Took him about 2 hours. For free. Why would u want to do and pay for that urself? Not everyone has the time to sit around building PCs
