    iPhone 4

Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours) In my completely un-knowing, and probably wrong opinion: I think this could just be a "test body", a very bland case which is big enough to hold all of the hardware necessary for the new model, but has not yet been styled, allowing the phone to be fully tested...

Ace cafe French performance and classic night, Monday 19th april

How did I not see this? Where is this place? Ah its a fair whack away, or I'd jump in the motor now.

Few snaps of my ph1 172 before she's sold...

Interesting blend of ph1 and ph2 that, never seen the 182 rear on a ph1 sport, looks very nicely done and I'm a Ph1.5 fanboy, so I like :D

Paint, Sandpaper & A Sunday Morning

The sand paper leaves you with a smooth-ish finish, but due to it being sanded, its keyed so the paint sticks, it doesnt matter if it feels totally smooth to touch, I sanded it with what looks to be somewhere around a 500 grit, but its a guess, as its just down as "medium" on the halfords sponge...

Another but slightly different speedo problem

Yes indeed that is it, and yes indeed it has a heat shield, easy to remove, twist and pull, if you twist pull, clean and re-fit, and it works for min, then you'll just need to get another, I always found when mine was fubar'd it'd still work if you took it out for a bit and cleaned it etc.

    iPhone 4

Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours) I'm unsure what to think tbh.... I don't like how that looks, but I don't believe it to be final either, I think they'll be serveral tweaks before production, so I'll be having it :)

Another but slightly different speedo problem

Really? I wasn't aware of that, and thought they all had GB sensors.... I'll return to my hole now. Unless its just the sensor at the ABS ring or whatever?

Wiring help - Electric Window Switches

Right, I can tell you how to wire them up to get them both working, but I have no idea how to get the passenger switch on the drivers side to work aswell I'm afraid. Personally, other than ground and constant live, I use all new wiring.... Now, I'm calling pin 1, the one nearest the bottom...

Wiring help - Electric Window Switches

Oh dear god, memories, I can tell you all, as I've done the same thing, but you'll have to give me a while to think about it/read. Only thing I couldnt get, was the drivers side control to do the passenger side window.

Another but slightly different speedo problem

Gearbox sensor dude, about 30£. If the needle itself works then that indicates its just the signal isn't being sent to the clocks.

Paint, Sandpaper & A Sunday Morning

You can use this, it has a rough outside, so you can actually sand with it until its knackard, then just wrap it in sand paper if you want to carry on using it as a flat edge: Click me!

    New to Renaults!

Personally I don't find any issue with the seating, I'm 6"2. Again you can only see the meets sections if you are a full member I'm afraid.

Paint, Sandpaper & A Sunday Morning

I can take a pic of it when I get home, I used a halfords sanding sponge to sand it to start with, being so soft and bendy made it easy to sand it all/get in all the nooks and crannies. I then painted the whole thing, then just used a standard sanding block, you can use a chunk of wood if you...

    New to Renaults!

There are a couple of things to help the driving position, you can take the rubber spacer type things out of the standard seat subframes, lowering the seating position, or a set of Recaro's/any other nice buckets will see you happy. I only say Recaro's as they come standard in the Trophy...

    Small Accident - ANNOYING!

I stood in diesel for the first time ever yesterday (sheltered I know), I couldn't believe how sippery it was, there was a massive puddle of it at the pump, so I assumed it was water, when I nearly stacked it walking in to pay for fuel, I told the guy "there's diesel all over the floor over...

The everlasting ph1 ITB Build **GREEN-BUILD STARTS AT PAGE 100**

Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77 I wish you had this car at Colshe's when I came and picked up mine, would have loved to see it in the flesh. Remember it from a long time ago, even before it went so hardcore I farking loved it. Possibly my favourite...

Paint, Sandpaper & A Sunday Morning

Cheers mate, haven't used the polishing kit yet, only because the halfords "sanding sponge" (which is like a thick washing up cloth thing with sand paper on) has made the letters amazingly shiny!!! lol! I may just give it back to you tbh, but I'm gonna give it a go on my gear knob first, really...

Sorry they're not the best pics in the world, both of our "Camera Boff's" pussied out (ill/skint) poor excuses if you ask me! :rasp: I only got a few shots before my battery died, I thought it had lasted ages since I last charged it :o Anyways, was a good meet, good to see everyone and a good...

Paint, Sandpaper & A Sunday Morning

There's a link to the exact paint I used earlier in the thread, just halfords, VHT matt black paint. I'll give the dyson a go later, lol! Just used a 1" brush mate, not very difficult at all, as for the letters, I painted the whole thing, then rubbed over it with some fine sand paper on a...

Paint, Sandpaper & A Sunday Morning

Cheers for advise on the carpet, I'll give it a go, I thought it was pretty much ruined, so I'm not sure how far I'll get TBH. LOL! Yeah I just painted it in situ mate, no problems doing it like that, less hassle and takes so little time. Removed nothing other than the engine cover mate, just...
