Remap, as you intimated, will not gain you 30bhp. A couple of options really, both TDF (Cambridge) and RS Tuning (Leeds) have good reputations and are no bullshit when it comes to remapping. Or you could go the diy route and get a Rs Tuner to plug in and install a pre written map yourself. My...

My 182 was RR'd at TDF in Jan at 167bhp.

Funnily enough, I ran out of Duragloss a few weeks back, so picked some of the Zymol shampoo and was really impressed too.

Would like to get mine painted ideally, but wouldn't know where to stop- front and rear bumper, bonnet, rear arches etc. To be fair, mine would probably look better if I got the 3 tons of tar off it that the local roadworks have abstractly splattered on it.

Still planning on getting the front end painted mate? Or have you binned that idea.

Sticky foam pads probably mate, get them from Halfords and B&Q etc. Or Velcro of course.

Flol, I had the same issue trying to get my osr disc off, carrier and hub nut off no probs, and then an hour of smacking it with a hammer and it was still firmly in place. Eventually got it off by wedging a bar between the disc and the hub.

It is indeed made of win dude!

Love the carbon badges, old house mate used to run them on his black e46 and they made it look so much meaner. Ditto the black grilles.

We were heading west from Cardiff about then. Would have been in convoy with an Artic 182 and Flamer 172.

I agree, the guy still has the f1's tucked away in his garage awaiting a refurb. Super bright silver would look epic btw!
